Aggro Deck
Mono-Shadow Aggression
Stack Shadow bonus with Shadow Spirit, then convert it into burst damage with Catixy and Wandering Feline's high-crit attacks while Moxilys pressures the whole enemy board.
Best for: Players who want fast games built around critical hits · Applies to patch 1.23 · Editorial starter shell
How to play Mono-Shadow Aggression
- Shadow Spirit's Shadow Breath and Umbral both grant Shadow bonus (+1) every turn — cast one every turn so your shadow damage keeps climbing.
- Catixy's Sinister Charm grants Critical (+25%) to a random allied card; combined with Wandering Feline's Offensive Aim (50% base crit) crits arrive quickly.
- Moxilys' Doubleshadow hits all enemy cards and adds Shadow bonus (+2), softening the whole board for your crit finishers.
- Focus one target at a time: destroying a single enemy card is worth far more than spreading damage, because every surviving enemy card keeps generating Spamtons and actions.
- At the Tox Shop, look for crit enhancers and damage steroids; this deck wins before long-game healing matters.
Strengths
- Fast, explosive starts with high critical-hit rates
- All-common core that new accounts can assemble quickly
- Mono-element synergy: every Shadow bonus powers the whole team
Weaknesses
- Fragile: Shadow Spirit and Wandering Feline have 500–550 HP
- Struggles against heavy healing and resistance-stacking decks
- Relies on crit variance for the biggest turns
Substitute cards
- Aleera, Nightmare-Eater — Alternative shadow common if you prefer a different attacker profile.
- Squall, Emissary of Nightmares — Rare upgrade that adds mixed Fire/Light and Shadow pressure.
Tox Shop priorities
Favor critical-chance and damage Tox; a defensive Tox on Shadow Spirit keeps your bonus engine alive.
